SeedMol (Symposium Symposium on Electronic Structure and Molecular Dynamics).

This Symposium happens every two years and aims to offer an overview of new developments, advances and directions of research in the broad area of Molecular Modeling. Topics range from the development of fundamental methodologies to applications in Chemistry, Biology, Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Solid State Physics and related fields.

Scientific program will be composed of invited lectures, invited contributed talks, and presentations in two poster sessions.

VIII SeedMol will have

- Book of abstracts with ISSN;

- Publication of extended abstract with DOI (if the minimum number of 100 abstracts is reached)

The VIII SeedMol will have a dedicated Topical Collection in the Journal of Molecular Modeling, see the details in the Springer site.

IMPORTANT: Each participant may submit up to two (2) abstracts.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is November 10.

Invited contributed talks will be selected by the Scientific Committee.

Instructions for submission of invited contributed talks (video of 15 minutes) and poster session (video of 5 minutes) will be communicated on the conference website later on.

AREAS OF INTEREST

The world status in research and development has a strong tendency to use computer tools to optimize processes and develop new materials and synthesis routes. Physics of electronic structure and computational chemical make available to decrease costs in various experimental tasks through modeling and simulation, in which the idea is to seek a better prediction of the results.
